Ashford Hospitality Trust—Dallas, Texas. Multi-billion-dollar REIT with 117 multi-branded and independent properties.

This assignment initially involved a comprehensive revenue management audit for a selection of four Marriott-branded hotels (Courtyard, SpringHill Suites, Fairfield, & Residence Inn by Marriott). After the audit was completed, the whole division of asset managers were trained on what to look for in their respective multi-hotel, multi-branded portfolios with regard to optimal revenue management practices. Training included comprehensive onsite workshops and follow-up individual real-time coaching with each asset manager.

The hotel asset managers were able to move forward with a strategic plan for helping the revenue team optimize demand and dramatically enhance revenues. The team of asset managers were also comfortable analyzing KPIs and asking the right questions to enhance performance.
