In the past it’s not been easy to find reliable reference material on the topic of revenue management in hospitality.  But now there is a plethora of good information from a multitude of respected organizations and educational institutions.  For example the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International’s publications are widely utilized throughout the industry.  For some time now HSMAI has led the industry in publishing expertly researched and authored studies on revenue management.  At Buckhiester Management we encourage revenue management professionals to search out and use these respected studies.

In addition, universities such as Cornell, Florida International, Michigan State,  Massachusetts U and Guelph University are just a few of the many highly respected institutions offering superb hospitality programs.  Cornell University’s Center for Hospitality Research offers a newsletter with all manner of articles, white papers and research studies.  One would be hard pressed to read and absorb the enormous amount of information available today covering the discipline of revenue management.  If you are looking for reliable resources consider the list below.
